CUPTA Privacy Policy

1. Information We Process

When you log a drink, the app stores on your device the original photo you select or take, the drink sticker created through on-device subject extraction, your Daily Drink Mood card, and the date, drink name, brand, category, temperature, sweetness, flavor options, favorite status, and notes you confirm. Weekly Cup Cards, drink insights, and the CUPTA Sticker Book are generated from these local records.

If you use CUPTA Promises, your no-ice dates, repeat interval, sweet drink limit, and coffee limit are also stored only on your current device. They are used only for lifestyle reminders you configure. They do not predict menstrual cycles and are not medical advice.

2. Photos and Device Permissions

Camera access is used only to photograph drinks. Photo library access is used only to select drink photos or save Daily Drink Mood share images, Cup Cards, and sticker canvases when you choose to do so. Notification access is used only for CUPTA Promise reminders you enable. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

3. Processing and External Transfers

Photo recognition, subject extraction, sticker creation, drink logging, and insights are processed on your device. To refresh the gacha machine's Weekly Picks, CUPTA retrieves only public drink images, names, categories, and recommendation tags from Apple CloudKit in read-only mode. Your photos, local drink records, and personal preferences are not uploaded to this catalog. CUPTA currently has no user accounts and does not use advertising, third-party analytics, or cloud AI services.

Membership purchases are processed by Apple StoreKit and the App Store. CUPTA reads only the membership entitlement status verified by Apple and does not receive your bank card or complete payment details. Apple's handling of this information is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

4. Storage and Deletion

Local content is retained until you delete the app, delete an individual drink, or delete all records from My CUPTA. Deleting all records also removes the original photos, drink stickers, Daily Drink Mood cards, and Weekly Cup Cards stored in the app. Images you previously saved to the system photo library are not deleted.

5. Children and Health Information

CUPTA is not designed for children and does not knowingly collect children's personal information. CUPTA Promises and drink insights are lifestyle logging tools and do not provide health diagnoses, treatment, or medical advice.
